A family tradition

We have been repairing and restoring quality timepieces for four generations.

Our story began in 1895, when founder Charles Nesbit contracted with the N.D. and Soo Railroads. Each generation of watchmaker has been masterfully trained and is dedicated to the meticulous care and maintenance that your preeminent timepiece deserves.

Trained by Charles

Charles inspired and trained his son Bill, who excelled like his father.

III

Co-owner, at the bench

Trained by two generations of master watchmakers, and certified through WOSTEP and/or AWCI's CW21 process.

IV

Mackenzie Nesbit

Fourth-generation watchmaker

Tom's son — his modernized workshop was featured in Horological Times' “The 21st Century Workshop.”

All of the watchmakers here at Nesbit's are certified CW21 and/or WOSTEP.Credentials from the renowned WOSTEP program in Switzerland and AWCI’s CW21 certification — the standards the finest manufactures demand.

Jan manages our office so that your experience with Nesbit's is pleasant, straightforward and efficient — she answers questions, provides estimates, and keeps you updated on your watch from arrival to return shipment.

Our standing guarantee

Call, e-mail, or stop by Nesbit's today for a free, no-obligation estimate.

Every five years

The movement should be cleaned approximately every five years — though this varies with caliber, case construction, and how you wear it.

Every two years

We recommend changing your battery every two years, to prevent battery-acid leakage and damage to the movement.

In our clients’ words

The work speaks. So do they.

Real reviews, quoted verbatim and attributed to where they were posted.

This is an amazing family-owned watch repair store. They are so knowledgeable about every watch. If you are a die-hard watch geek like me, you don't WANT the manufacturer to polish it, to replace the dials and hands, or to fix certain things, because it's more cool the way it is! I love that Tom and Jan at Nesbit's know so much about watches that they can work on any brand. They are lifesavers and they will do exactly what you want them to do. They are true artists.

Jonathan Sposato, via Fresh Chalk

Excellent and quality work, efficient service, easy to find and get in/out of. Will return for other services.

Vivian H., via Yelp, April 2026

I have used Nesbit's for over 15 years. They provide outstanding service.
